The result is an engine that features an outstanding level of environmentally responsible performance, both in terms of low fuel consumption 148MPG⁶ and low emissions 44g/km CO₂, in WMTC mode testing. At the same time, it achieves the seemingly contradictory feature of excellent dynamic performance, with powerful acceleration and exciting off-the-line response.

Luxurious Seating

The Burgman Street 125EX affords both rider and pillion plenty of room with a long seat that is well-padded and designed to maximise comfort. Red stitching adds an elegant highlight. In addition, its carefully crafted shape makes it easy to plant both feet on the ground when stopped. Aluminium pillion footpegs fold out to offer the passenger a more comfortable ride and tuck away neatly when not in use. The spacious floorboard allows flexibility in foot positioning to maintain a comfortable riding position, plus extended footboards provide extra space to provide greater comfort. The cut-away design at the rear of the floorboard also makes it easy to get on and off the scooter and place feet on the floor.
